Breakfast in Borneo

Breakfast in Borneo does not exist unless you are staying a hotel that offers a version of breakfast. Like toast and tea. But for the most part, breakfast is a hard meal to find inBorneo.

I suggest that if you like local food (which i should hope you do!) that you cut across to the local Kedai Kopi (literally meaning coffee shop) and order a Roti Canai which is a doughy flatbread that is served with a curry dipping sauce. You can also order versions of this tasty treat. May i suggest Roti Kaya which is Roti filled with a fermented coconut jam. Or Roti Telur or Roti Bawang which is with eggs and the latter with onions.
