Paris - Buy your travel passes in advance

When planning a trip to Paris I discovered that I could buy travelcards for the metro and buses online from the tourist office in advance. Not only did it make it a lot easier to continue our journey when we arrived at the Eurostar terminal, the credit card fee was more than recovered by the discounts offered in the voucher book that comes with the tickets.
