Bosque De Paz Private Cloud Forest Costa Rica

The lodge is in a remote and beautiful location and was very peaceful (although a large group of Dutch birdwatchers somewhat spoilt the peace at times!)

The hummingbird feeders attracted many species and we also saw wild coatis, pacas and raccoons feeding regularly.

The food was excellent - they even prepared vegetarian dishes especially for me.

The night tour was fascinating and is definately worth doing.

However whilst it is supposed to be a sanctuary for wildlife I got very upset as several small birds died after hitting windows during our stay. I spoke to the owner about adding protection to all of the windows, not just a select few, but I don't know if he has taken any action.
