Toilets in India

Added by voyager - 25/01/2010 13:53

Most toilets in India have someone outside collecting payment - always keep a 10 rupee note handy to pay for them so you don't have to get out your purse/wallet which may make you vulnerable to theft. It's worth having toilet paper with you too as it's not often provided.

It was 10 rupees at most places we went to and that was the amount our Kuoni guide said it would be too.

10 rupee note? No way, the most they will ever charge is 1 or 2 rupees. Keep some change in your pocket, and definitely some toilet paper as well.
