Gatbawi, or the buddah with the hat, is on Palgongsan mountain outside Daegu. The mountain is easily accessed from the city by a number of buses and walking up you get stunning views of the surrounding area. Don't be discouraged by the amount of steps you have to walk up, its worth it when you get to the top...trust me.
