Waterways of rural devon

An age old scene on the grand western canal in mid devon, a shire horse pulling a barge in day's gone by this would have transported stone from quarries for firing and producing lime for farming and house building. Now with modern technology and industry the waterways and barge are put to use to as a popular tourist attraction.
