Mara River warden

This is one of the wardens that patrol the Mara River in Kenya. The river is full of hippos that are very territorial so if a visitor fell in the river, for example, they are likely be attacked and killed. That's not to mention the giant crocodiles that lie in wait for the wildebeest as they cross the river in their thousands during the migration. At this popular visiting point of the river, however, wardens will use their guns to protect anyone in danger.
