Mother and Baby

Two elephants, a mother and calf, stand by a waterhole in Rajiv Gandhi National Park, India. I love elephants and can spend hours watching herds. Possibly one of the scariest experiences I've ever had was being charged by a bull in musth that came out of the jungle. It was a close run thing. I have no idea where the following phrase originated: "Elephants and women are beautiful creatures, but looking after one of your own can be hard work."
