This is taken as I climbed up WaynaPicchu - the mountain behind Machu Picchu. Every step you take on the narrow, sometimes wet, stepped climb you see MP in all its glory. There are even sections where the original Inca steps still survive on Wayna Picchu as the HIgh Priest's house was built on a ledge overlooking MP. How they worked and lived at this height and built terraces thousands of feet up for food and grazing defies belief, but it's all there for you to see. Awesome
