As most people would agree christmas just wasnt the same this year! So to escape the doom gloom and boredom of the traditional british family christmas myself and a few friends are going to head to europe for xmas 2009. We'v all just returned from our first ever ski holiday and had an absolute ball, therefore we want to combine wintersports, adventure and european charm into our holiday. The big question is where's cheap???? All being students we'v got to do it on a budget, the good thing is non of us really drink so we aren't looking to stay anywher that would be party central! If anyone has any recommendations id love to hear them! Thanx Vik

may i recommend the Christmas Tour done by Eastern Trekker, i did it in 2007 and had one of the best christmases, birthdays, and new years eves in my life, all in 10 days
everywhere on the tour is cheap compared to englands prices anyway
I starts of in Krakow, where the christmas market is awesome, then christmas eve evening to boxing day morning is spent in Zakopane, as ski resort, so you will have a white christmas and can be snowboarding/skiing all day christmas day. A couple of days later you could be relaxing in the thermal baths in Budapest. Followed by an afternoon stop in a ski resort in slovakia, before heading off the Vienna.
Prague is the final stop for New Years Eve and a massive pre-organised party
hope this helps?
