Has anyone had any experience of these courses or their providers? I'm an unemployed graduate and was wondering whether this scheme would be worth doing and if so would it be better to do the course in the UK before accepting a job?
Also, wasn't there an article in Real Travel about this (working abroad) and if so does anyone know which issue it was in?

Hi. you can do a TEFL course in the UK but if you are looking to volunteer abroad teaching there are companies that incorporate a TEFL element at the start: so you get your qualification while you are out there. Check out www.gvi.co.uk as they have volunteer oportunities including a long internsive TEFL course in Thailand, and shorter ones in Kenya and Equador. Hope that helps. x
